Thanks, Chuck, and Wayne, for your enjoyable and informative replies.

The only real contact I have ever had with chickens was when I was a boy. I was given four "peeps" for Easter-time, dyed a variety of colors, as was the custom at the time (the 50's). We raised them in the basement and backyard until they seemed to be adults. Then, one day, when I returned home from school, the three chickens and one rooster were gone, given to a nearby farmer, I was told, though we did seem to have a more-than-usual amount of chicken meals for several days. :?

The only other fowl encounters I have had are the geese landing and strolling about in the nearby cemetery, which stand about waist-high to me when I walk there, all very calm occasions, even pleasant, except for the acres of droppings which must be navigated alertly.

Land mines.
When we understand that each day isn’t one more day, but one less, we’ll start giving more value to the things that truly matter.

Land mines.

That's for sure, and with delayed fuses, especially evident in their results when you get back in the car and your shoes say Hi to the floor mats and carpeting. You have literally helped them all mark their territory.

That's cute, in its unique contemporary way. You gave me a smile, and precisely when I need it.

Oh. So may I conclude further that you will soon be establishing an official chapter of Osaka Daggers in your neighborhood and professional community ? :D

It's your sense of playfulness and adventurousness that instigated my imaginative, silly conjecture.
