I'm still not certain what to say, personally , upon meeting a person presenting that self-image . For example, in a classroom, I wonder if I would use "he"or "her" when referencing that person. I'm not even certain how I would respectfully and with kindness ask such a person which pronouns he or she or (?) might prefer being utilized when making Third Person (which mark Gender) reference.
Just address the person by their name and keep on moving forward.
Birth name or new chosen name..... Caitlyn Marie Jenner (born William Bruce Jenner; Or maybe you can just point your finger and say Hey You,
"Hey, you": would be using Second Person, and Direct Address. However, sometimes, we talk about or reference a person who is present, or not present, and we utilize: he; she; etc.
"Gender non-binary" elects to not announce as one gender, even if being experienced anew, and instead refuses to be catalogued/categorized/lumped-in to any particular gender grouping. Jenner elected to be associated with, and shifting to, one gender in particular, I believe. Or did I miss something there? Did Jenner declare as "Gender non-binary" ? I've heard conversations on talk-shows wherein the hosts were careful (it seemed) to use "she" and "her" when referencing that person currently.
