I honestly do not know how bad such TV is for me. I mean, I just watched, while I ate my post-walk breakfast, a bit of "Hot Bench" :? and "Jerry Springer,"  and it barely gets more mindless than that (!) Yet, does everything have to be intellectually profound during a bit of recreational TV ?

IMHO it's a lot like a hobby, supposed to be FUN.

Totally up to your perspective and probably whether or not you've ever seen Rick & Morty, and know me as well - couple of variables in that single equation for you ponder at the blackboard.

I watched my first episode of Lego Masters tonight, on Fox. It reminds me of American Chopper and Monster Garage a bit. I liked watching Jesse James roll custom fenders and gas tanks on his English wheel, and the A.C. guys custom machining wheels on the CNC mill and lathe, as well as the other actual creative stuff. I hate the bogus melodrama, though.

There was some serious design and creativity here, and I recommend the show on that basis. Like Forged in Fire, it's a timed competition. For some reason, the teams had to move their projects across the room, and two were largely destroyed in the process. This was simply senseless. There was a second phase to the competition, so some repair was possible. Not enough time is devoted to covering the design and creative work, and the show doesn't know how to do that. What they do, is have the judges critique the contestant's work during construction, which wastes the contestant's, and our, time.

It is rude, inappropriate humor with a some actual thought applied to ask some painful questions.

Speaking of which, where is the Lionel Rick & Morty Multiverse Express? For that matter, how about a Tegridy Farms Halloween Special? Or, a Moral Orel Red-Eye?
