and it set me to wondering... Then I found

and realized there would be no way you would be associated.

San, didja ever wonder why they even build those 200mph crotch rockets. If they're built, ya just know there's gonna be quite a few people who just gotta see what they'll do. My brothers' ex-lady friends son was killed on a 650 Ninja.

But, I should talk. When I had bikes, the 750 Honda 4 was pretty hot stuff in 1971. I did 120 on it, and my '75 Harley Superglide could only hit 105. That's all, no more motor on a stock 1200, but it would start to wobble and get unstable at that speed anyway.

Today, it's amazing that just a 650 will hit 180, no problem.

Mitch,

We have kamakazi's head out to Jamul (desert area east of San Diego) and crank Ninja's up to unbelievable speeds. Seems to be some perverse desire on their part to do this at night. With near slicks, one oil spot, rock, or pebble in the wrong place and they're street pizza.

Those speed remind me a trip in Germany a few year ago.
I landing in Munich 48 miles from Landshut. I asked to the taxi driver how long it will take, and he said around 20 min. :shock:
I said ok.....thinking that the guy was crazy.....the Mercedes Benz diesel start the trip and take the "autoban" gezz!! suddenly he was driven 90 m/h
100 m/h, 120m/h, 150m/h 4500 rpm......it was scary....The amazing think was others BMW and Mercedes passed him easily.....
the trip took 20 minutes as he said, I took a deep breath to said thank.....

When I was kid there was a dump near us. My buddies and I would ride

our bikes there and sneak under the fence. We found lots of great things

there that people had thrown away. I saw my first "girlie magazine"

there too. :)

You too?! I had a Honda 750 back then too ... it was cool! 8)

I sold mine in 1972 when my Son was born. Wife said that she didn't

want to raise a kid by herself ... so the bike had to go.

I was just informed that Tramp's sentence was perfectly clear. Plus Andre seemed to understand it no problem. Must be me. Tramp's much more of a professional at late nights than I am!
