It's county fair time! Love those John Deere tractors! The Washington County Fair is happening outside of Pittsburgh. This was the most fun I have had in a long time.
And even Vicki had a good time!
And a video from the 4 cylinder demolition derby!

I would love to have the land where I need the green but alas I live in the suburbs. I really enjoyed the fair and would love to have the land to sit on the back porch and enjoy.

Great photos Marty. My favorite tractors.
I think that Oliver 66 in photo 1 (left side) and photo 2 (right side) is good looking also.
You might have cropped the photos a little to get those red tractors out of sight.

Wayne, Can you guys keep your monsoonal humidity over there in Azirona. It has been miserable over here most of this week, just enuff drizzle at times to screw up the windshield but not enuff to do any good.
I learned to drive, 11 or 12 y.o., by driving a Farmall Cub with a cicle bar mower and various plows & rakes in summer. Come fall the saw was attached then it was firewood cutting time. Lots of hard work at the time but sure do look back on it now as very fond memories.

Sorry Doug. We went to Catalina Island last week and the weather followed us. We got to see the Pacific Harbor Line railway in operation.
This is one of those new low emission hybrids. See the three exhaust stacks? It has three engines, but only as many engines as needed
for the task run at any time. Batteries help get the train started.
There were Homeland Security everywhere. None of them paid any attention to my photographing the railroad. We drove over to one of their trucks to
ask where the boat to Catalina was, but the guy was sleeping soundly. We decided not to disturb him. The poor guy must have needed the rest after all
that homeland security stuff he had been doing.

26 Miles (Santa Catalina), the Four Preps
Twenty-six miles across the sea
Santa Catalina is a-waitin' for me
Santa Catalina, the island of romance, romance, romance, romance
Water all around it everywhere
Tropical trees and the salty air
But for me the thing that's a-waitin' there--romance
It seems so distant, twenty-six miles away
Restin' in the water serene
I'd work for anyone, even the Navy
Who would float me to my island dream
Twenty-six miles, so near yet far
I'd swim with just some water-wings and my guitar
I could leave the wings but I'll need the guitar for romance, romance, romance, romance
Twenty- six miles across the sea
Santa Catalina is a-waitin' for me
Santa Catalina, the island of romance
A tropical heaven out in the ocean
Covered with trees and girls
If I have to swim,
I'll do it forever
Till I'm gazin' on those island pearls
Forty kilometers in a leaky old boat
Any old thing that'll stay afloat
When we arrive we'll all promote romance, romance, romance, romance
Twenty-six miles across the sea
Santa Catalina is a-waitin' for me
Santa Catalina, the island of romance, romance, romance, romance
Twenty- six miles across the sea
Santa Catalina is a-waitin' for me
So many memories.

and spring tension on the carbon brushes and carbon brush
Sometimes excess of oil isolate the wheel, losing the ground.
Clean the rollers outside and inside (pin)
Clean contact point between frame and trucks
wd40 work well.
keep in touch
Andre.
Building a railroad is rough work. I've almost got three trains running. Thanks for the cleaning tips.
Andre, glad your family is back.
Here's another column in case anyone is interested. It's about dumps.
