Pete, you old horses' patoot! Glad you're checkin' in. And really glad to hear your baby is doin' well. Nothin' worse than seein' one of your children sufferin'. I had no problem watchin' a doctor cuttin' two fingernails off my right hand when I got them smashed down in Tennesee, but when I had to watch a doc sew up a gash on my boys' head, I damned near passed out.

I'm a'wishin' for a full and speedy recovery. (For all of you)

WOW!! Glad it worked Wayne...

Me too. I surprised everyone with a fast recovery, walking the hallways on day three. The nurses could not believe it. They could not get the other CABG patients to get up just to go to the bathroom. What surprised me was learning afterwards how many people were praying for me. Kinda made a believer out of me. That is why my wife and I have been praying for Leah. Looks like it is working. Thank you Lord.

Uh oh, time to get Hev to cut back on 'The Captain'.

LANCASTER, Pa. — A hotel and store in Lancaster County are assessing the damage after a naked man ran amok and allegedly did thousands of dollars worth of damage to two businesses.

West Lampeter Township police said they were dispatched to the Willow Valley Resort, and later Darrenkamp's Market, on Friday amid reports of a naked man on a rampage.
Some office space at the resort was trashed and a forklift was driven into an interior wall, also damaging an overhead sewer pipe, authorities said.

 :D

Let me see if this works.

Well, it didn't work. I didn't know you couldn't delete your own post after somebody else has posted.

san,
Check this link to see if you have any interest. http://www.goldenstaterails.com/
If it originated here instead of lalaland I'd be going but to take the grandson to LA ride the steamer down and back then turn around and come back down would be a major pia.

Doug,

A ride behind #3751? You bet. Have to check some dates, but if the coast is clear I am in.

Billyjoebob, LOL!

Thanks guys, all of you. She went back to school today. Every kid in the class had made a card, as a class project. Very cool. Two of her teachers sent flowers and a stuffed animal, as did a hillbilly hobo. She's a sucker for both.

She can't do gym for two weeks, until the PICC line comes out. We're still doing the home IV antibiotics 3 times a day.

Her eye still has some slight redness around it, but it's 95% back to normal. We're WAY over the hill. I'd show you all a pic of her eye, but it's not for the squeamish. You parents with young kids... any swelling/redness that doesn't come from an external hit/smack/bump, it's a GD medical emergency. Don't delay.

The third and fourth grade classes had a skating party tonight she had to miss, which broke her heart, but that's real small potatoes, and she understood. No running around, no wrasslin', no bikes, and she can't ride her motorcycle. She's itching for all.

Again, the moral support was HUGE, especially when the doctors were talking 'surgery', and about her losing her vision, and when she was sicker than hell.
From the redhead and me,- our deepest appreciation.
