CHEERS!

I see that second poster in the Jungle was The Rock.

The Rock plays Agent 23 in the new Get Smart movie set for release June 20, 2008. Anne Hathaway is super-hot as Agent 99. The bad guy is played by The Great Khali, 7 ft. 3 in, 420 lb. Now wouldn't it make sense for The Rock, 6' 5", 240 lb, to do battle with The Great Khali? No, this is traditional "Get Smart." Anne Hathaway does battle with him. And just to make it more difficult, she does it in the air after jumping out of a flying airliner. And why did she jump out of an airliner? Seems Max accidently fell out of it without his parachute. Agent 99 jumps to catch up to Max and give him his parachute. Unfortunately The Great Kahli also jumps and cuts the lines to her parachute. Now she is mad. She tells the free falling Max, "I have to do something, I'll be right back." Agent 99 flys to The Great Khali and cuts the lines to his parachute. He falls like willy coyote while she flys back to Max, graps him and opens her emergency chute.

I am happy to see The Rock doing well. I have missed him around here.

Wayne, the Rock of Jungle fame who was with us back in '05 and '06 when I first came in, was, I believe, (and correct me if I'm wrong), an older Hobo. I remember in his later posts he was fighting a serious illness, and, from the nature of his last posts, I got the impression it was cancer. He lived in Parkersburg, W.Va. He stopped posting suddenly, and I fear it was terminal. We never heard from him again. May the Lord be with him.

Mitch,

Opps! He fooled me with statements like, "LOL, Hey Hev, you know The Rock is always ready for another Wrestle Mania, especially with some of those Hooters gals." And he once told D that he was a movie actor.

I see that he signed his posts, "Doug." The Rock in Get Smart is "Dwayne."

Well I miss our The Rock.

What a forlorn and desolate camp. Does nobody drink beer anymore?
This fine fire I've built, underneath this spreading sycamore
down near the waters' edge, but, from the railhead up above, no man peers, over the ledge. Where have all my friends gone? Off, to each his own. So, I'll just drink all this beer myself, while they all sit at home.

Mitch, Jon,

I see you found the Miller's Reefer Cars I hauled over to the jungle early this morning. Are they still cold?

I snagged a chicken. See you got the fire going good. This bird will be ready for cooking in a few minutes. (Wayne starts pulling feathers, Mitch takes out his knife.)

In order to produce pickled tofu, cubes of dried tofu are allowed to fully air-dry under hay and slowly ferment from aerial bacteria and fungal spores. The dry fermented tofu is then soaked in Chinese rice wine.

If man was supposed to eat tofu, he wouldn't be at the top of the food chain!

The only thing I've ever eaten tofu in is the Hot & Sour soup at the Chink House, but it's just used for a filler.
