Jim,
Crack that whip
Give the past the slip
Step on a crack
Break your momma's back

When a problem comes along
You must whip it
Before the cream sits out too long
You must whip it
When something's going wrong
You must whip it

now whip it
into shape
shape it up
get straight
go forward
move ahead
try to detect it
it's not too late
to whip it
whip it good

When a good time turns around
You must whip it
You will never live it down
Unless you whip it
No one gets their way
Until they whip it

I say whip it
Whip it good DEVO

Not enough 12 oz. curls. Of course they've probably been whipped by some damn lush ones.

I was thinking of upgrading the furniture in the train room. I wanted to get rid of the old swiveling bar stools and go with some chairs similar to this one pictured. I think it's sorta stylish. Any input?
PS: I already have an oriental rug.

Jon,

She reminds me of a trainer I had as a young chimp. Send her back to the observation car and I'll buy her a drink. See the link below for details.

BTW, it looks like there has been some screwing next to the tracks. Know anything about it?

San, that pic was huge and I couldn't seem to shrink it. Any ideas? It looked like a great picture though.

Jon, 1 Altas 36-foot billboard reefer, 1 Atlas signal, coal-fired-steamer smoke fluid. End of purchases.

Tramp,

Let's see if this is more managable...

Alas, I attended the Ray Charles school of photography and am just no good and manipulating images.

Hobo birthday, wednesday!

Just want to give everybody a running shot at a PTA bath, and a chance to filch some favorite brew and a choice cee-gar, so we can do 'er right.

San, is that cork as a roadbed? Those Santa Fe cars really are the nuts (screws). At dusk when the room light, the interiors of the car lights, and the silver bodies are all about the same value—now that's reason for a beer.

Tramp,

Yup. It's good old fashioned Midwest brand cork roadbed. The stuff that comes as two strips of cork that can be separated. One side of each strip is beveled.

The interior color is accurate. Low level El Capitan cars used a burnt orange color. Later, with the introduction of the high level cars, Santa Fe experimented with turquoise. About the same hue used on the Edsel and Thunderbird. There was a Southwestern faux Hopi/Navaho decorative scheme used in the cars. I am reasonably certain that any native American would have been offended, but the hoi polloi of the country's heartland thought they were encountering a taste of the exotic.
