Here's the one Hev was talking about being at Rough&Tumble.
It's the entire Witmer Fire Department!

I love how, back in those days, builders and craftsmen went for beauty as well as functionality.

Yeah, and look at that predicessor to the Dodge Ram emblem in the exhaust manifold!

Sure would like to make it happen, Dirt. I'm scheduled to work on Saturday, the 20th, but another tech asked me to switch with him for this Saturday so he can pick up his new dirt bike. If I work this Sat., I'm clear on the weekends for the next 7 weeks, (unless the weather turns bad and the steelhead start runnin' at Erie :) ).

Wow I 'm going to have to make sure who is in the room the next time I open this thread up. :)

You all enjoying this late summer weather? If this is the new weather pattern I just might start burning some more oil. :)

The weather is tits.

No rock hard chillin' nipple pokin' weather down here, Tramp. That action is still to be found only in the freezer isle of the grocery store. It's peakin' out at 90 degrees, hot and sultry down south. No wonder I had tears in me eyes as I left New Hampshire last weekend.

Tramp, Actually our Brother Dennis has a side gig going on besides the train magazine stuff. These Russian mail order brides that he sent to my doorstep the other day are pretty neat. The order you see them in the photo is exactly in the order of how I'm gonna marry them. I just got to get it past my present wife and priest and I'm in!!!!! :D :D

I think the first one in the line is incredibly sexy. Of course, beggars can't be choosy! :)

We have been having problems with coyotes here in Tucson. My wife is afraid her cat will be next so she called Tucson Varmint Control. When the Varmint Control person showed up I invited her right in. As I was getting a couple of beers out of the fridge, my wife wanted to know, “The coyotes are outside, why is Ms Varmint Control in your train room?” I told her, "She heard the trains running and thought it was varmints making all the noise." I wonder if the wife bought that one?

D,

My wife is way better looking for sure. And Ms. Varmint Control (real name Cassandra) is married to one of the local ranchers. You don't want to mess with Ms. Varmint Control.

But, don't you think Ms. Varmint Control has an interesting ah, er, hat? Yeah, that's it, an interesting hat.

YIKES! Seems like being burried under a giant soggy marshmellow to me. Ah well, guess I must not be gay. Or maybe I don't like smores? Or something.

After careful study, I realized that she's holding a nicely embellished Winchester 1872!!!!!

Too nearly an hour of close study to realize that..... :D

Now THOSE are the cool layouts I lvoe to see! Looks kind of like an apocolyptic deal with the town swarming in some military take over. Cool to have drama on the set.

I'm going to be so happy when Tramp puts up his whole layout this winter that I think I'm going to make a whole scenerio that puts Dr. Zhivago and Tron to shame. Plus - the giant feline as Godzilla
