Hmmmmm..... Somethings a bit "fishy" here. Is that a neon blue condom sitting atop the piece?

They're those rediculous luminary candles in bags they made us all put around our pieces YOU NUTS! nutsnuts nuts!

It's a mysteriuous obelisk. Of 2007. Of the future unknown.

The fish took 1st place. Not sure if it was a whitefish.

Philipsburg / St. Maarten - Princess Juliana
Looks like a bitchin' place to visit!

Penn, was there last June. I was on a week cruise (Royal Caribbean) and this was one of the Islands we stop at. Beautiful white sand beaches, here is a pic of me on the beach at Orient Bay (French side of St. Maarten) too my right about a quarter mile down all nude beach. As you can see I am all cover up. I burn easy and use spf 45. Philipsburg (Dutch side of St Martin) very clean city with lots of shopping for the women.

A fine work. I am impressed. Did you cast, carve, or cut the obelisk? What is the location. This is just amazing to a Southern Californian.

San, each carving team was given a 10 inch by 20 inch by 40 inch block of ice. We had three hours to carve, which wasn't nearly enough time. We sawed the block with a hand saw, which was very slow going, then used chisels to finish the thing. Since it was our first time, we made a lot of mistakes. The worst was that there was absolutely no time for drinking.

Oh, the winner was a fish. The guy who was the expert guide said he'd never seen anyone do an obelisk like ours.

The location was at a fellow's house here in town. He hosted the event.

Happy New Year.

Oops. Daisy doesn't like luminaries.

Hey guys, I was on the duty roster for evening-shift tonight.
So from here in the hospital, with the ill, the sad, the overwhelmed, and the lonely, I want to wish you all a happy and healthy new year, and may we all count our blessings and savor our friendships!
