My apologies, Tramp and Daisy, if I offended. It was a little over the top, I guess, but meant only as a compliment and strictly rhetorical in nature.

Glad to see everyone had a good time on Halloween. I missed the cold, windy northeast fall weather that goes with it. I did get to decorate the morning show here for Halloween- I think this is called paying your dues- but I had some fun with it.

Will, I wish I could tell you that you'll eventually get used to the climate change down here, but as an ex-New Yorker, you never will. And the further south you go the worse it gets!!!! Someday I hope to gravitate back north again to my roots. But in the meantime we'll have to console ourselves with sandy beaches and sun tanned thong wearing babes. Ohhhh, it's so painful.

As of right now, in Somerset County Pa. it is (brace yourselves) 21 degrees!
My nips be stiff!
Froze but good this morning, duck puddle was a skating rink (entertaining too, this years ducks sliding on their a$$es :D )
Got the coal fire stoked up good, a pot of Kelly's forebox Chili in the crockpot, and some of a friend's Irish Coffee in the tin cup.

Was watching the old SUnday River B&O tape last night, and swore I could smell coal smoke.
I did.
The Better Half was stoking the fire!
Nice smell effects for the video.
I'll dig up the info in the Full Wave Bridge Rectifier this weekend, Sorry, I havn't gotten that far yet.
I put mine in the locomotive, rather than in line before the track. This lets you run it on a conventional 3 rail layout, along with the rest of the fleet!

Hobos, it's cold tonight. Let's get the fire raging.

Will, it's in the past. That heat down there can do all kinds of strange things to a fellow.

Damn! It's cold. Windy, too. Got a good fire goin'. No stars out tonight. Hope to hell it don't rain, or worse yet, snow. My old blue tarp has a hole in it, duct tape 'll fix that. Two grommets are ripped out. Duct tape won't fix that. Maybe if I can pick up a couple days work I'll get a new one, make this one a ground cloth. F@#king wind. Blowin' the damn fire in my face. Not a soul around, wonder what place this is. Know it's east of KC. F@#king railroad dick, if it hadn't been for him I could have stayed in Topeka, then caught a southbound to some place warm. Why am I talking to myself. No, musing, that's what it is. Only crazy people talk to themselves. Only three cigarettes left, and damn near out of coffee. F@#king wind! Fire won't stay under my pot. Maybe if I move the wood pile, block it out a little. Ah, finally a little steam comin' out of the pot! Sure does smell good. May as well dig out my hooded shirt, warm it up and git it on. Ahhh. Good coffee. I can git by here for a spell, 'cept my feet are gettin' cold. Seems like that wind is dyin' down a bit. F@#k! Flurries! Wonder what this place is. Darker than hell, can't see anything beyond the tracks. Keeriste! Hope I ain't camped in somebody's front yard. Nah, too many f@#king rocks. Nobody'd leave all these rocks in a yard. Been three hours at least, nary a train. Hope to hell I ain't stranded here. Can't help but think of that poster I saw of those girls in them teeny thongs playin' volley ball on the beach. Man, I gotta go south. Man, I gotta go south. ZZZZZ
