Jon, it's odd, but I think I get more enjoyment seeing the engine on your layout in all this great photos than I did having the engine here. Thanks for all the shots. Is the old beast still running like a champ?

If a fire stoker has the balls to wear a faded-red shirt, you know he can keep the fires glowing.

:D Depends on who I'm talking too...
Yes, but, I'm considering dropping it, too much backstabbing and politics the the national level for my tastes.
The advantage of York don't overcome the politics that the national, and especally Eastern Div. is getting into.
My primary intrest is 2 rail scale O, and then postwar Flyer and Lionel.
Most of what I go to/went to York for was parts for restoring old trains, and junkers to restore.
I also collect Yellow Box Atheran (gum band drive) HO.
In all honesty, I can find most all of what I want at local shows (Bedford Pa., Altoona Pa., Timonium Md., Hagerstown Md. Cumberland Md., and the Greenberg's in Monroeville Pa.)
Plus, I'm not too wild about huge crowds.
After Sept 11, I skipped York, for that very reason. Plus, York is downstream and downwind from TMI.
Yes, I'm paranoid. I even have my tin foil hat on!!! (that's a joke)

As Fall is finally rolling into the South, its time to crank up the I.B. Tippin-Brew Outdoor R.R. In honor of the occasion, I purchased this Bachmann Pennsy Steamer to commemorate the festivities!!!! :D :D I often wear a tin foil hat while railroading. :D
