Gold for the mistress,
Silver for the maid,
Copper for the craftsman,
Cunning in his trade.
"Good" said Highrailjon, sitting in his hall,
"But Iron- cold Iron - is the master of them all."

Hev: every since I switched to Verizon, and started using Outlook express 6 I've had nothing but trouble with my e-mail.
I've talked to 2 reps on the phone and tried to take care of it on line too.
I don't get "watched topics from here either.
startin' to really get on my nerves!

Jon, it's from a Kipling poem, and is about the effect of cannonballs on knights in armor, but when I saw that stanza, I immediately thought of that inspired photo of yours.

Hey, speaking of iron, any of you guys got a lady who drives with a cast-iron foot? I've said before about how the Redhead is "all accelerator, no brakes", but I guess if you gotta hit the gas hard, sooner or later you gotta hit the slow-down hard too.

I got behind the wheel of her car, when we were heading to one of Airborne's soccer games, and I hear a squeal from the left front brake. Sez she: "That's starting to get bad...".
Sez me: "Starting...???"
So I jack 'er up, and pull the left caliper.
No problem on the outside. Rotor is smooth, some shoe left on the pad-

Then I flipped 'er over.

I don't know what she means by "bad"!?!
Hell, she's got a whole square-inch-and-a-half of shoe left!!
:D   :D
