Wow, paper magazine prices have gone through the roof. I wonder if OST will offer a digital version cheaper? I like to look at them but don't need anymore reference material than I get here or online.

Quality photography sells. It appears that there's more interest by both publications in the photography than the actual model RR'ing content.

Actually, that price for the annual has not changed for 3 years, since the inception of that format.

As far as I know all of the Annual publications are counted as "books" and are not available in digital format.

I didn't know that, in fact, the last "annuals" I bought were maybe 30 years ago. Someone put out an annuals of 2R layouts back in the 80's and I collected maybe a dozen. Those were $10-12 and that was a lot back then.

I confess to being curious as to just how the sales of these O scale annuals look given the cost and community that they are being marketed towards. We could not support the magazine adequately for it to survive; OSN just faded away and what we have left is OSR that I think we really need to get behind in every way possible. Otherwise O scale publications will go the way of S and traction and host of other specialty topic publications.
