I should try to sign into my old Photobucket account; some of the pics I posted there still show up in various threads (which surprises me).

I once used Photobucket's free photo site. Then, on June 28, 2017, Photobucket held all my photos hostage, demanding $399.00 ransom to get them back.

My anger blazed at Photobucket. I never paid the ransom. I signed on with Flickr and have been happy ever since.

Yeah, I recall that debacle, and shortly thereafter many of the links seemed to have broken. Now I see the stuff showing up again, and without the Photobucket watermark slathered over it. I'm just curious what's going on. I can't imagine their business model didn't take a hit.

I tried. They want five bucks just to start. Of course any photos of mine they have are still in my files.

I will look to see if any of my blocked photos are still here, but I doubt it. I am having spectacular success with Shutterfly. They make me feel so guilty I even created a book! And bought a copy!
