0n30 trolley.
Christmas and season's greetings. Stripped the BS off, cleared, now in re-assembly. Then paint the roof.

I see the photo in the first post, Dave. You don't?

Do other folks?

Sarge....wasn't there. I quoted you so you could see what went wrong. One bracketed url at front of link, one bracketed and slashed url at the back.
You had this, each end okay, extra bracketed url in the middle, and two .jpg's
I removed the "m" in each bracketed section so it won't try to post again.
I suppose the forum software just took it's time trying to figure it out.

Interesting, Dave, since I haven't changed the code on the initial post and others see it. It's done in straight bbcode; no upload features or forum tools.

Here is what I used, with the "m"s removed as you did.

wasn't there. I copied your url and posted with forum tools, it worked, THEN yours worked.
No idea.

Mysterious. Perhaps it gets upset if you don't use the forum tools and just gin up the code elsewhere.

Still, I saw it straight away after I posted it, and it showed on two different devices without issue, though my stuff is all Apple.

I'm going to change the title of this thread to reflect all this.

Another test that I can already see, an old photo fully hosted on a site in an active account, straight bbcode.

Looks like everything is good to go, then.

For the info of those who want to use a third-party host, I'm using Imgbb.com. The first image was by simple upload without an account (they apparently let you upload images into a vast public community with no account at all) and the second uploaded to my own account (over which I maintain control of my content).

MTJ currently support bbcode just typed or copied into the box one types one's post in. If I can wrap my old head around it, there should be no issues for anyone, really. Feel free to PM me if you need more info or "advice".
