It is still there - same misleading ad. It keeps getting extended, which probably means he could indeed terminate it and correct it.

I note another Challenger in the same general price range - standard gauge, kind of a caricature. I looked, because it is called a “Waterman” Challenger. It cannot be something Vince did - it looks cobbled together. Nice cooling coils, though.

Still there! I suppose soon some unsuspecting buyer will appear, snap it up, and attempt resale at $24,000.

This week a series of junk freight cars with NO BOX are on sale starting at under ten bucks. Shipping is listed as close to $70 for priority mail, and $44 for the cheapest route. I believe a freight car can still be shipped coast to coast for under ten bucks.

Those of you who need freight cars, be careful of overcharging on shipping.

Edit: Just checked with my Shippo account (really like this outfit):
3lbs California to North Carolina, 20" x6" sq (a likely size for a freight car, but few hit the 3 lb target) $10.90. If you need it in three days, priority mail will cost $17.46, not $70.

I shall go weigh a freight car:

Mini-Scale tank, 17/64, cast in a zinc alloy - metal trucks and couplers - 1 lb 12 oz. - UPS Ground Saver - $9.24.
