Has President Biden
Re: Has President Biden
"You can tell his wellness from 30 srconds of TV. Segments."
I suspect you have very little experience with people over the age of 70 because you are young. There are distinct limits to what you can infer about cognitive function from watching 30 seconds of video. Lots of older folks speak slowly and hesitantly even if they are cognitively intact, particularly considering a life long speech impediment. Lots of older folks are limited in terms of musculoskeletal function (walking and grasping) and are cognitively intact. If you are not a nurse or physician or physical therapist and have not spent much time with older folks, you probably just don't have any reference points for what is actually normal and healthy.

Your 70 year old brain forgot that Biden is 80. He is too old for the job.

Well, then you've made your decision on the basis of age. Remember that when folks start telling you that you are too old.
Just remember: what horses consider play, monkeys consider business, but to Tom it’s all foolery.
Re: Has President Biden
I don't think people in their middle years or youth know much about what being 80 is like these days. Churchill was in his mid to late 60s when he helped save civilization. Chuck Grassley is almost 90. Churchill was almost a century ago. Being 80 today has the same life expectancy or better than 65-70 then, for one thing. He's got even odds of living till 90 or so. That's a few years after his term would end. Anyhow, that's what we have Vice Presidents for. Kamala Harris is in mid-life. I realize lots of Americans would be dead set against a female of color president, but that's tough luck for those meatheads. A lot of people once thought slavery was a good thing

You mean the democrats thought it was a good idea. Just like they think it’s a good idea to trans the kids and sexually mutilate them.

People say “ kamala is a republican when it comes to crime”

A lot of Democrats thought the KKK was a good idea That's why many of them were members of the clan
Kamala Harris
I also remember this from the debates.
I agree with you when you commit yourself to the importance of finding common ground. But it was hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country,” she said, referencing Biden’s comments earlier this month, in which he praised former segregationist senators James O. Eastland and Herman Talmadge for their “civility.”
She went on to point out Biden’s own troublesome history of opposing busing, a practice intended to promote integration in public schools by transporting children to schools in different districts. Biden vehemently opposed the measure when he was a young senator in the 1970s and pushed forward legislation to prevent its implementation.

Re: Has President Biden
Most famous recent I remember was Robert C. Byrd (D), the U.S. senator for West Virginia.
Not one of the fellow dumb-o's would confront the issue.
Makes you wonder...Lincoln was a (R), and how many (D)'s supported KKK over the decades?

Re: Has President Biden
The Democratic party was pro-slavery in the period prior to the Civil War, in Reconstruction and through the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s and 1970s. This was almost exclusively Southern Democrats during the 20th century. When they lost that battle, most of their replacements favoring white supremacist positions and segregation were Republicans, an ironic historic twist obviously. But holding the current Democratic party responsible for slavery is a bit silly. But holding current politicians of any party responsible for consorting with known white supremacists, racists, xenophobes, anti-semites, etc. seems reasonable. Joe Biden may have been on the wrong side of arguments as a young senator from a former border state (Delaware) but seems to have gotten religion on the subject of racist policies, misogyny, etc. The same cannot be said for his potential opponents, unfortunately.
The good news is the Republican party's unpopular position on woman's reproductive rights is likely to sink any of the current candidates, regardless of whether they are popular amongst the racists, white supremacists and other political fanatics on the right of their party. Neither Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris could be characterized as leftist radicals or socialists except by the most cynical and/or misinformed enemies of human rights and liberty. They are pure and simple centrist progressives on social issues.

Wait a minute there, buck-o,
Which party embraces (ethnic groups) whose ancestors may or may not have been slaves, but all of whom were captured by the same (ethnic group) and sold to British slavers, and we have to be sensitive and embracing?
And pay taxpayer money as "reparations"?
But past reprehensible behaviour by (D)'s can just be "oh, that's past, get over it, it's all good"?
You appear to be far stranger than I imagined. Delete, again.

Re: Has President Biden
You are living in a fantasy not reality. Reparations for slavery is not a Democratic Party platform. Personally I think it’s a problem to determine who would be eligible and would be extremely divisive.
Then again having dinner with a known racist and a known antisemite is a disqualification from holding public office. These are known evils that no other politician would have engaged. Just shows how MAGA extremism is undermining our society and its values.
My point stands that the Democratic Party is the party of decency and compassion compared with Trump and Desantis, not to mention rational economic policies.

Re: Has President Biden
This may or may not hold true for the rest of the country. Where i live both dems and repubs have a large base of middle ground. I would say “70 percent of each party had at one time or more voted for the other party”. I will also say “ that 70 percent of the Dems in my area will not vote for Biden in a primary. They would only vote for him if he ran against Trump” On a side note presidental primaries are ove by the time they reach PA. We need a national primary day

I can’t see why anybody would want to be president at 83 years of age.

I said in an earlier statement I wonder if Biden would be able to handle the rigors of a campaign
Biden caught with crib notes detailing reporter's question prior to calling on her during press conference
Biden was informed of journalist's question prior to calling on her, paper reveals
President Biden is no stranger to detailed cheat sheets when speaking to the press, but the president's team seems to have taken things up a notch after he revealed a pre-written question from a reporter during Wednesday's press conference.
As Biden spoke alongside South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol in the White House Rose Garden, a photographer captured a small cheat-sheet in the president's hand signaling he had advanced knowledge of a question from Los Angeles Times journalist Courtney Subramanian. The small paper also included a picture of the reporter along with the pronunciation breakdown of her last name. "Question #1" was handwritten at the top of the sheet, indicating the president should call on her first at the conclusion of his remarks.
Biden has been ridiculed for relying on detailed cheat sheets in the past, with critics calling them an indication that the White House has lost faith in the 80-year-old commander-in-chief amid concerns about his mental acuity.
