The building was replaced by a new P.H.C. building after a 1936 fire.

The address is 30 E State St, Sharon, PA.

The water is not a canal, it is the Shenango River.

The new building:

As I did state it being at State and Shenango and that being the Shenango River.

Nice that they saved that emblem/signage! There's also a river walk access along side of the building.
Your body is not a temple. It’s an amusement park. Enjoy the ride.

The "new" building is nice in its own way, too.

Hmmm, that looks like the kind of track that I could hand-lay or even commercial track after I got through with it!

I suspect that is a repop of the original; the extreme heat of the fire would have destroyed the original.

That school house is not a bad-looking building, either.

I started my comment while I was reading about the history of the building. While I was reading you and hondo posted comments on the building. I finished my post and submitted it. I did not see your post, Rufus, otherwise, I would have given you credit and stated you were correct. I apologize.

Wow, now that's really interesting...a wood plank sidewalk behind a hitching rail with flagstone laid in front of it. What's up with that?

Looks like plank, but I'm not sure......I guess pouring concrete was off in the future. Was herringbone brick sidewalks in my youth in PA. Pretty sure some of that is still in place.
