Seen in Print
Re: Seen in Print
If you guys had Garmin in your cars and it's older than '18 or '19, I remember we had recalls for all the Chrysler Corp vehicles to update the radio for GPS. I can remember driving customer's cars in Fawn Twp., and the map was on roads over in Sarver, Butler Co. and one said I was over in Vandergrift, Westmoreland Co. Garmin had made a satellite change that created the errors. If it was covered in the recall, it was free. If something other than that, customers had to pay for a different download and update. I think my brother's 2015 Town & Country is still fubar. I told him to take it to the Dealership in Springfield, Mo. and see if his was involved in the recall, but he never did as far as I know. He doesn't drive that car all that much.
Still one thing about driving tractor/trailers. Garmin does not inform you of low bridges, tunnels, dead ends, or weight limits on roads.

If you agree with the Progressives, it's freedom of speech. If you disagree, it's hate speech. There are no alternatives.

They have cell phone apps now for truckers. Trucker's Path will tell you low bridges, weight limits, speed limits, toll roads and open chicken coups. Everything is electronic now. Even log books. You cellphone will interface with the trucks computer. One simple scan of your ELB and the DOT knows that you crossed a restricted bridges 20 miles ago!

Ok I’m admittedly a little slow on the uptake. First is that a wind mill or a boat propeller? If it’s a boat propeller is that suggesting more whales are killed by boats than harpoons? I guess I could maybe see how that’s possible. If it’s a windmill you’ll have to connect the dots, cause I ain’t getting the connection.
Re: Seen in Print
Windmills. 9 whales died by beaching off the Jersey shore. 8 in jersey 1 in long Island. Some say it is caused by the sonar used in construction. There is a construction company using sonar to find bedrock for their windmill platforms ,off the jersey shore. I'm surprised this news has not hit Delaware.

Keep that brain working; try to figure this one out.
See if you can figure out what these seven words all have in common?
1. Banana
2. Dresser
3. Grammar
4. Potato
5. Revive
6. Uneven
7. Assess
Give it another try.... Look at each word carefully. You'll kick yourself when you discover the Answer. This is so cool.
REMEMBER I ONLY SENT THIS TO MY SMART FRIENDS AND FAMILY
NOW DON'T LET ME DOWN
No, it is not that they all have at least 2 double letters.... Answer is below!
Answer: In all of the words listed, if you take the first letter, place it at the end of the word, and then spell the word backwards, it will be the same word.
Did you figure it out? No?
Then send this to more people and stump them as well.

Garage Door
The boss walked into the office one morning not knowing his zipper was down and his fly area wide open.
His assistant walked up to him and said,
'This morning when you left your house, did you close your garage door?'
The boss told her he knew he'd closed the garage door, and walked into his office puzzled by the question.
As he finished his paperwork, he suddenly noticed his fly was open, and zipped it up.
He then understood his assistant's question about his 'garage door'
He headed out for a cup of coffee and paused by her desk to ask, 'When my garage door was open, did you see my Jaguar parked in there?'
She smiled and said, 'No, I didn't. All I saw was an old minivan with two flat tires..
Two elderly Gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says:
'Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?'
Slim says, 'I feel just like a newborn baby.'
'Really!? Like a newborn baby!?'
'Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.'
A senior citizen
said to his eighty-year old buddy:
'So I hear you're getting married?'
'Yep!'
'Do I know her?
'Nope!'
'This woman, is she good looking?'
'Not really.'
'Is she a good cook?'
'Naw, she can't cook too well.'
'Does she have lots of money?'
'Nope! Poor as a church mouse.'
'Well, then, is she good in bed?'
'I don't know.'
'Why in the world do you want to marry her then?'
'Because she can still drive!'
Three old guys
are out walking.
First one says, 'Windy, isn't it?'
Second one says, 'No, it's Thursday!'
Third one says, 'So am I. Let's go get a beer..'
A man was telling his neighbour, 'I just bought a new hearing aid.
It cost me four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art.. It's perfect.'
'Really,' answered the neighbor . 'What kind is it?'
' Twelve thirty..'
Morris , an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical.
A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.
A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, 'You're really doing great, aren't you?'
Morris replied, 'Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.''
The doctor said, 'I didn't say that.. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be careful.'
One more. . ..!
A little old man shuffled slowly into an ice cream parlour and pulled himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool.
After catching his breath, he ordered a banana split.
The waitress asked kindly, 'Crushed nuts?'
'No,' he replied, 'Arthritis'
Now, before you 'forget', send them on to some other folks you know who could use a good laugh.
