I'm fully vested in Social Security; managed to get there years ago thanks to my sideline work gigs. Actually I still pay into Social Security thanks to my sideline work gigs.

Keep up the good work. I did the same up to age 66, and am hoping to go back in the work force in the not too distant future, health permitting.

If you paid into it. why can't you collect it?

I can collect it; OPM will just deduct it from my Gov't retirement annuity.

I had 1 (actually 2 on record) sideline work gig prior to retirement; had to jump through the hoops every year to get it approved, but it paid off getting my quarters into Social Security if I ever needed or wanted to apply for it. That ended just before retirement, but then I picked up a replacement sideline work gig and then ~8 months later, yet another. I also have a consulting business.

I had to quit my last job undergo radiation treatments. That came out OK, so I may be in the market for employment one of these days. Depends on a couple other health issues and what jobs are out there. I'll go with the flow! I've worked enough sh*tty jobs and crappy hours, that not much fazes me.

Don’t discriminate now….you have to be all inclusive especially if you’re running for office. If you run as a Republican the left will find this post and you’ll be deemed a misogynist and transphobic

No, I didn't buy it. I thought he was selling scones for $5.99 a box. Turned out it was a Scion for $5,999.
