I'm fully vested in Social Security; managed to get there years ago thanks to my sideline work gigs. Actually I still pay into Social Security thanks to my sideline work gigs.

Keep up the good work. I did the same up to age 66, and am hoping to go back in the work force in the not too distant future, health permitting.

That ended just before retirement, but then I picked up a replacement sideline work gig and then ~8 months later, yet another. I also have a consulting business.
