That eliminates 99+% of the candidates.

Anyone have a valid opinion on the railroad contract? Is it true most rail workers don’t get sick days?

I had a lemming tell me “ he can’t vote for me . I have no experience “ when he walked out of the polls. I asked “ did you vote for mike?” He replied “ I voted for Ashley” i said “that’s she has no experience either you just pulled a party lever “

Experience? What "experience" qualifies anyone to be a candidate?

Listening is a good qualification. Also not being a dick really goes far in life.

Hey everyone. Stop Splurging on everything you buy. You're causing inflation......

Janet Yellen blames Americans' 'splurging' for record-high inflation
Stephen Colbert notes Biden administration dismissed inflation as 'small risk' last year

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen blamed consumers' excessive spending habits as a primary cause for the near 40-year-high in inflation on Wednesday.

The Biden official appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" where she was asked about the price increases that have plagued the U.S. for more than a year.

Colbert asked her to explain to his audience how inflation got out-of-hand when "two years ago everything seemed fine." The late-night host, known for his sycophantic boosting of President Biden and Democrats, even noted the Biden administration dismissed inflation as a "small risk" as recently as last year.

Yellen argued the administration managed the COVID-19 pandemic so well that consumers felt comfortable to "splurge" on goods.

All credit card spending. In 18 months comes the real pain. When they all default.

Yeah, and with today's prices, I can understand why young families have to live on CC's. But, Biden's administration/policies is responsible for our runaway inflation. Or at least he/they do nothing to curb it.

I have been noting that eventual financial crash for a while, except it never quite arrives. Lots of defaulting has been happening for a long time, but it seems at an acceptable level for the banks and CC companies. When you're collecting 23-28% interest, you can absorb a lot of defaulting. A single mass action default seems unlikely.

and with today's prices, I can understand why young families have to live on CC's.

Yeah, buying video games and $1200 phones, and all sorts of crap that they don't need instead of food and housing. They spend it all and save nothing for tomorrow - it's all about "the experience" - I get told this by my son about his contemporaries and associates.

But, Biden's administration/policies is responsible for our runaway inflation.

One - it's not runaway; we're had in the fairly recent past where it was double digit inflation. We're nowhere near runaway. Think triple digit inflation for runaway. Two, it's not Biden that caused it. There has been a pretty unique past 4+ years that impacted the US and the rest of the world's economy. Shutting down the planet is easy; re-starting it is really very hard. Sort of like taking one of those USH loco's and letting it sit for 30 years and then trying to run it finding out the gear box is solid congeal gunk.

Or at least he/they do nothing to curb it.

Also not true - there actually is very little he can do. It's really under the thumb of the Fed Reserve and you might follow what they are doing raising rates, etc., buying up a lot of debt to save a lot of sectors of the economy....being done by some guy named Powell that the prior administration appointed......

BTW, filled the tank today; $3.079.

I don’t know how inflation is calculated. I do know a can of Pringles was a $1.49 cents for 5.6 oz. They now go for $2.79 for 5.2 oz. That price range required a year to reach. $3.00 would be 100 percent increase. With the removal of .4 oz. It’s damn near 100 percent for a year.

I know it gets blamed for every price increase of just about everything when it's really just greed at the root of the cause.
