As for big pharma and for-profit hospitals, we know already that they generate profits that dwarf those seen anywhere else in the world of healthcare. Every for profit entity, including the folks who collect our trash, have used inflation as an excuse to jack up their profits. I can assure you that trash collection in the Rochester suburbs is private enterprise, and the regulation I was speaking of was related to costs/pricing. Obviously there are all sorts of state and federal, as well as local regulations about what can be done with trash, recyclables, etc.

I do like to argue. Trash public or private is regulated by the state's PUC commission. When we sign it, We may not read into a trash haulers contract. I can assure that all the increases they charge are in that contract and approved by the PUC.

Way back at the start. People would argue population density contributed to death rates. Australia has 9.2 people per square mile. The USA has 92 per. Tell me Dr. would less density help lower death rates?
I also remember someone say " Florida's lower rate of death was due to " sunshine and warmth . People are out side more" That should also apply to Australia. Right? They sure did have some pretty hash lockdowns. I'm not sure if the US post office will send mail there yet.
