Has President Biden
Re: Has President Biden
Thats because Trump didn't do them

Damn! "
Funny, but I don't recall you mentioning these things when Trump did them. Perhaps I missed those posts. I've done them all (except the state secret part, which is in doubt in any case) and I'm pretty sure I'm not senile. In fact, we've all done these sorts of things from time to time. I tend to believe your opinion is more informed by political bias than anything factual. If it makes you happy to think we have a doddering fool for President for the next three years, have at it. Better than a malicious, felonious lying fascist. Trump made me nostalgic for my old Yale "friend," GW Bush.
Look into the dealings of Biden INC. Both families are as corrupt as can be. The only reason you can see trump's corruption is. He was to dumb and narcissistic to hide it!

There's actually a 50+ year public track record.

Re: Has President Biden
Forbes, that left wing radical publication
, published that Joe Biden's net worth was about $9 million in 2021. That sounds like a lot, but doesn't even put him in the top 1% of Americans. If he hadn't been in public office and had practiced law instead, it would be at least 2 and likely 5-10 times that much. He earned about $17 million when he was out of office according to Forbes. So either he has a lot of accounts in the Cayman Islands or Switzerland, or the charges of corruption are total nonsense. No one is suggesting he be charged with felonies, as is occurring with Der Trumpster.

Biden is smart enough to have his kid and brothers take the hit. Look around and see how his brother does business.

So some say he's so smart and some say he's senile. You guys should get together and get your stories straight
.
We all know people in politics wind up rich. They have connections and thus can leave office and make a bundle consulting. Or their family members can make a bundle consulting. Nothing illegal usually, just the usual influence peddling that stays this side of conflict of interest. Of course, many elected officials wind up accepting benefits in the form of business that helps their interests. See Joe Manchin and the coal industry or just about every long term serving member of Congress. Which is why everyone should have to put their holdings in a blind trust while in office. Conflicts of interest are everywhere. But there is no way of stopping family members from benefiting from the influence and fame of their relatives, at least not entirely. Trump as president fostered holding government meetings at properties he owned. That's an obvious one for the conflict of interest laws. Indeed, clearly illegal in some people's minds.

Really? Where is it? The Dems searched relentlessly from the day he became President and ultimately resorted to making up ‘Russian collusion’ to no avail.
Re: Has President Biden
Come on man! 40 years ago he was smart enough to set up Biden INC. in his brothers' name. I work for one of the brothers. I don't believe he ever worked a day in his life. Somehow he owns a business building housing for wounded Iraqi warriors. He builds houses over in Iraq. If you gave jim a hammer and spotted him the first 3 swings. He still would not be able to drive the nail home.

Actually blind trusts are pretty much a bunch of smoke and nonsense; they can be totally revocable and invades by owner at any time. It all sounds good but the reality is that they are a joke for public consumption.
What really needs to be done is to have Congress be held to the same ethics laws and rules that Congress set up for Gov't employees. Those are ridiculously stringent and painful with very serious limits of stock ownership not only personal but also immediate family. At high enough levels, actual financial amounts have to be disclosed and are available for public access.
At least 3 of Trump's Sec level cabinet appointees ended up resigning due to stepping over those same ethics laws and rules.
Problem is that Congress effectively exempted itself from those same ethics laws and rules. Once again, Congress does a great job of taking care of themselves, not the people that elected them to office.

I'd go a few steps beyond that. Stop political families. One family member at a time in office. If a person from your family makes it to the presidency. That's it. No more positions for anybody. IE. bill is the president. Hilary never becomes secretary of state. Dad Bush becomes pres. No Gebb in fla. and no JR. Bush in the white house. Walmart and IBM wont employee family members.

I guess you can dream......but you might want to read up on separation of state / federal and just how complicated what you're dreaming might really be to execute. BTW, Sec of State is not elected...

Yes i know it is an appointed position. I don’t feel that it is right to appoint a former first lady.

Why not “right”?
Do you feel it would be unrighteous to do so?
If so, how so?

What I remember about Hillary Clinton as Secretary of state.
Obama’s ‘Russia Reset’: Hillary and the ‘Skolkovo’ Misadventure It was announced with great ceremony by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, brandishing a red plastic “Reset” push-button that she presented to her counterpart, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Oops: The button was mislabeled Peregruzka (the Russian word for “overcharge”) rather than Perezagruzka (reset).
the Kremlin still keeps the button on display in a museum at the Foreign Ministry. a symbol of American folly
