I had a passing thought of the same but it............passed. W/o a Tardis, certainty is not 100%, but probability is approaching unity.

If you enlarge her part of the photo, the hair seems to be a wig, and the head is beyond being merely that of a butch dyke ; more like a trans-person, perhaps successfully accomplished for those days.

The hour-glass waisted gal is apparently quite amused and happy. Big Gal is real serious and sober. Yet, they both appear positioned for the same purpose of the photo taking . Curious. But long, long gone, yet it’s fun to imagine , so what the hay.

Indeed she is! I thought this interesting given how many RPPC's I've posted w/o people at all and then those with people stern & serious, or utterly devoid of emotion.

True that. Perhaps such seriousness was customary in those times . As an example, in the photo you posted, above, of the “Jr. L. League,” only the woman on the far right and the woman in the back row, in front of the tree, seem pleased. I’ve never seen a group of children of various ages intermixed with every face so serious . It reminded me of pics I’ve seen of orphanage children. And given that mixture of ages and genders of them, I’m amazed they are so rigidly at attention, with not a single arm of affection or hand of mischief apparent among them as buddies would have been teased or jostled.
