...goes to visit a school in Moscow to have a chat with the kids. He talks to them about how Russia is a powerful nation and how he wants the best for the people. At the end of the talk there is a section for questions. Little Sasha puts her hand up and says, "I have two questions. Why did the Russians take Crimea and why are we sending troops to the Ukraine?" Putin says, "Good questions". But just as he is about to answer the bell goes and the kids go to lunch. When they come back, they sit down and there is time for some more questions. Another girl, Misha, puts her hand up and says "I have four questions. Why did the Russians invade Crimea, why are we sending troops to the Ukraine, why did the bell go 20 minutes early and where the heck is Sasha?
An old joke that has been recycled with just a change of name, with each new Russian leader since Lenin:
Question: Does President Putin collect political jokes?
Answer: No, but he collects the people that tell them.

Anyone here old enough to remember 1962 ??
During the Cuban Missile Crisis, leaders of the U.S. and the Soviet Union engaged in a tense, 13-day political and military standoff in October 1962 over the installation of nuclear-armed Soviet missiles on Cuba, just 90 miles from U.S. shores. ... Kennedy also secretly agreed to remove U.S. missiles from Turkey.
The US and Europe have been pushing for the Ukraine to be a NATO member so they can put missiles on Russia's borders. Guess they didn't like that idea either...That's what its all about...
Wait until China takes back Taiwan like they say they are going to do. What kind of sanctions will we put on China ?
What happens next if Russia shuts off the oil and gas to Europe ? The UK and Europe have frozen Russia's bank accounts.

"Vladimir Putin doesn't want me to be President. He doesn't want me to be our nominee. If you're wondering why - it's because I'm the only person in this field who's ever gone toe-to-toe with him," Biden's Feb. 21, 2020, tweet read.
"Putin knows that when I am president of the United States his days of tyranny and trying to intimidate the United States and those in Eastern Europe are over," Biden said in October 2019.
Vladimir Putin..,Responding.

There isn't a good side so it's a trick.
Most of the trouble in the world is caused by people wanting to be important.

Clearly, Putin is not somebody to mess with. He’s not going to backdown or change his mind and willfulness, and certainly not do so in front of the entire civilized world. He doesn’t merely just want obeisance to his will, as he tries to re-collect the myriad elements of the old USSR; he wants genuflection, at the very least . A true megalomaniac. IMunHO .

Robert, Thanks for that detailed list. It’s important, no doubt; educational, actually ; at least, for me.
