It is indeed, Horn Coral.

Many groups of organisms have long histories in the fossil record, but later went extinct. One such group is the horn corals. These solitary corals were very common during the Paleozoic era before the time of the dinosaurs. Horn coral, which first appeared in the geologic record during the Ordovician Period, which began 488 million years ago; persisted through the Permian Period, which ended 251 million years ago.

In the 237 million years that the Horn Corals existed, each species of Horn Coral never changed... no sign of evolution.

Every plant or animal that left a fossil record suddenly appears, then disappears, without ever evolving into something else. The lack of evolution in fossil records was once considered a problem. Today most educators simply ignore facts and lie. They teach that the fossil record proves evolution.

Ben Stein did a documentary on evolution called, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed."

What I learned from the "No Intelligence" movie was, any educator who does not teach the evolution theory as fact... loses his job.

Forest Mims III was not mentioned in Stein's movie but his story about working for Scientific American Magazine lends credence to Stein's accusation. Mims was hired by Scientific American magazine to write a series of science articles (none about evolution as far as I know.)

He got two articles published and then, Scientific American found out that Forest Mims III believed in Creation. He was immediately fired.

Stein's movie is biased to prove what he wanted to prove. I wonder what theological schools teach? I grew up in the Long Beach, California, public school system. From grade 1 through college I was taught about both evolution theory and creation theory.

Did anyone else grow up in a less evolution biased education system than what Ben Stein accuses the education system of?

A listener called a Television Station in Great Britain and said they had heard a large storm is on the way. The weather forecaster told his audience, "Don't worry, everything is fine, there is not going to be a storm.

That night a huge storm struck southern England. 100 mph, 15million trees destroyed. Sadly, 18 people lost their lives.

The great storm of 1987 was a violent extratropical cyclone that occurred on the night of 15–16 October, with hurricane-force winds causing casualties in the United Kingdom, France, and the Channel Islands as a severe depression in the Bay of Biscay moved northeast. Among the most damaged areas were Greater London, the East Anglian coast, the Home Counties, the west of Brittany, and the Cotentin Peninsula of Normandy, all of which weathered gusts typically with a return period of 1 in 200 years.

Forests, parks, roads, and railways were strewn with fallen trees and schools were closed. The British National Grid suffered heavy damage, leaving thousands without power. At least 22 people were killed in England and France.
The highest measured gust of 117 kn (217 km/h; 135 mph) was recorded at Pointe Du Roc, Granville, France and the highest gust in the UK of 106 kn (196 km/h; 122 mph) was recorded at Gorleston-on-Sea.[citation needed] The storm has been termed a weather bomb due to its rapid development.

That day's weather reports had failed to indicate a storm of such severity, an earlier, correct forecast having been negated by later projections. The apparent suggestion by the BBC's Michael Fish of a false alarm is celebrated as a classic gaffe, though he claims he was misquoted. As a result of this storm, major improvements were later implemented in atmospheric observation, relevant computer models, and the training of forecasters.
