Nancy becomes VP. Correct?

Nope. Pence can pick anyone he chooses to and then the both houses of Congress have to "approve" the choice by simple majority. It's in the 25th amendment. Agnew resigned and Nixon appointed Ford. When Ford took over when Nixon resigned he appointed Nelson Rockefeller. Pelosi only comes into play if Both Trump and Pence are not able to perform their duties.

Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?

That's what I remember, too.

Thing is that the 25th amendment is not an instant thing.

So they just treat him like a 600lbs gorilla in the room. Leave him alone for the next 12 days. Then 3 large men escort him away @12;00. Maybe some sedatives in his food.
Removing him now would cause major chaos.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes

I hope VP Pence has been working, quietly and privately, on his book.

I suspect that there will be an avalanche of tell-all books in the coming year, most being at best fabrications of fertile imaginations.

Thus, all the more reason I would be interested in reading his perspective on all of it. He has seemed, to me, to be a person of practicality, reason, and steadfastness. Simply holding his tongue , essentially, this long a period of time, tells me he would not be afraid to tell his opinions and the actual facts of what he has witnessed and in which he has participated, one way or another . For me, there is an honorable aura about him.

He is very good and polished at projecting that aura, but you might look into his track record on healthcare and his fundamentalist religious leanings that color the reality that he really lives in.....

Wow. Now there's a mouthful, yet another example of what I have found intriguing and dignified about you from the start; that is, you know lots of stuff !

P.S. That's in addition to your MTJ forum moniker , Rufus, being the name of the son of the man, Simon the Cyrenian, who helped Jesus with carrying his Cross. (Mark:15) :)

Curtis & Leroy saw an ad in the Hearald-Citizen in Cookeville, Tn.
and bought a mule for $100.

The farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day.

The next morning the farmer drove up and said,
"Sorry, fellows, I have some bad news, the mule died last night."

Curtis & Leroy replied, "Well, then just give us our money back."

The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it already."

They said, "OK then, just bring us the dead mule."

The farmer asked, "What in the world ya'll gonna do with a dead mule?"

Curtis said, "We gonna raffle him off."

The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead mule!"

Leroy said, "We shore can! Heck, we don't hafta tell nobody he's dead!"

A couple of weeks later, the farmer ran into Curtis & Leroy
at the IGA grocery store and asked.

“What'd you fellers ever do with that dead mule?”

They said, "We raffled him off like we said we wuz gonna do."
Leroy said, "Shucks, we sold 1000 tickets fer two dollars apiece
and made a profit of $1998.00

The farmer said, "My Lord, didn't anyone complain?"

Curtis said, "Well, the feller who won got upset.
So we gave him his two dollars back."

Curtis and Leroy now work for the government.
They're overseeing the Vote Count, Bailout & Stimulus Programs.

Maybe Trump will lead the "Fascist Lives Matter" movement once he's removed from office :). Never a clearer case for the 25th Amendment, the President is a floridly psychotic individual, as we've known for some time. What is distressing is that over half of Republicans agree with his conspiracy theories and psychotic ramblings. Hopefully Twitter, Facebook and the mass media will ignore him/ban him to help the Republican party return to its senses over the coming years. We need a two party system with both parties led by responsible, non-treasonous individuals. Right at this moment, we only have one. May the Republican party return to its roots of the 1860s and 1870s.

You know that seething hatred you have for Trump?
That's how 74 million of us feel about Biden.
Take your unity dreams and shove it. His pathetic, worthless old *** can drop dead and I'll be rooting against him every step of the way.

"Now that the Democrat party and the media have gotten away with stealing the election they will do it over and over, Democracy is gone, We are the Soviet Union."

You are now officially a member of the Flat Earth Society :). There is not a shred of evidence that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris didn't get 7 million more votes than Trump and Pence. We are back to being a democracy rather than a banana republic or Putin's Borscht and Nerve Toxins Republic.

Those who still believe Trump is a good man and a good President are essentially hoping to live in a dictatorship run by one of the more repulsive individuals to hold high office in our country. A psycho and a traitor to our way of life.

Only deeply deranged or hopelessly ignorant individuals were happy to see nutjobs illegally wandering the halls of the Capitol, after assaulting police officers trying to restrain them. One jackass actually was wandering around with a Confederate flag. Hundreds of thousands died to see that atrocity of a "country" meet its end.

Time to move forward. You want to hate Biden, feel free to do so. It's idiotic. The man has done nothing to merit your hatred except defeat the demon spawn we endured for four years. He's a lot more mentally intact and sane than Trump by any reasonable metric.
