Puzzling. Doesn't LOOK like a Lobaugh gon. Looks more like International or GEM.

Seller must think throwing a Lobaugh box into the sale will help, even if he or she does not show the end flaps.
Nice trucks. Even one set of Fast Angle tinplate axle sets.

Now, the blueprints.
The white tag blocking off identification.....as delivered or done for the sale?

Opinions....not looking to buy, just increase knowledge base.

GEM did not import O scale freight cars.

"Antique METAL O GAUGE Gondola car model with a Lobaugh box and two sets of wheels."

Doesn't actually make it or claim it to be Lobaugh, nor an antique either. Sold 2 of these recently - IMP is what I thought they were.

like a Vintage Tractor for sale, no namplates in photos, copy of invoice with what it is blanked out, and "Oh, and a Porsche Tractor Owner's Manual is included".....and it's a Cub.

Nope. O scale Gem was Samhongsa. Early IMP was made by KTM

Trying to stay out of these. Not Lobaugh, but you get two pairs of trucks and a decent brass gon. And a box!
Buy it, sell the A-N trucks and the box (big bucks for boxes) re-do the underframe and ladders, and smile. Or, if you are like me and have enough gons, ignore it.

I do want more drop-bottom gons, but only Division Point has made the exact car I want, and $350 a pop was beyond my desire. Too bad Ulrich didn’t make them in O.

Know the feeling all too well on 3-4 cars that I would like to have....the rest I can pass on.
