Re: Seen in Print
Isn't that the truth!
Re: Seen in Print
I have no interest in wearing clothes with somebodys or some brand name on it. Not even my own.
I remember when many companies gave away t-shirts with a product name on for the advertisement value.

Yep, and they never paid anybody for the free advertisement.

There are days when I am haunted by a feeling that is blacker than the blackest melancholy.
Yeah, we've been living it "many" days the past year and feels like it's building.

Yeah, we've been living it "many" days the past year and feels like it's building.
The "blackest melancholy" quote is attributed to Friedrich Nietzsche.
NOTE ON NIETZSCHE (a German philosopher)
By 1882, Nietzsche was taking huge doses of opium, but he was still having trouble sleeping. In 1883, while staying in Nice, he was writing out his own prescriptions for the sedative chloral hydrate, signing them "Dr. Nietzsche" He eventually died after several strokes in 1900 (age 55.)
Opium dependency can cause mental disorders, including anxiety and depression. It also can cause plasma fibrinogen and development of atherosclerosis, which can cause heart attack or stroke. Nietzsche was a classic case for these symptoms.

Several quotes in my signature lines have been from Nietzsche......... I am a bundle of cheer and a serious ray of sunshine.

Yes, and quite a few were on the precipice of failure for several years - Lord & Taylor being near the top of that list. Funny, there was a news bit on that and every woman that they talked to state something about it being the store that they went to with their mother. That right there hi-lite's the problem - it was your mother's store..........that never made the transition from that existence. Many of these stores self-destructed from self-inflicted stagnation and a lack of forward progress - capitalism in action.
