Need GM or A-N NW2 part
For three rail versions, there was this multiple bend piece that fit around the non-powered truck axles, ridged, to hold pickup assembly. Anybody converting on of these to 2-rail will remove them!

This is the part I need, less roller assembly, less truck, less mounting plate:

Is it made of aluminum sheet?

Steel. Well, sheet metal. Doesn't flex, heavy, never tried a magnet. I can make something that will work, I suppose...in fact, I have a homemade on the shelf, four brass legs, two per end that wrap around the axle. So flimsy a Lionel roller pickup springs collapses it upward!
Probably a better way to do this than have the spinning axles rub in the curled ends.
