2-rail! Boy oh boy. Drop end, missing both ends. Scarce blue Erie scheme. Tilt Couplers!
"We do not particularly look for any missing piece, simply because we are not knowledgeable enough to know all the trains we sell. But we will do our best to describe all the items we sell."
Then maybe you shouldn't be selling? Just a thought, mind you.
Oh, wait......it's 3-rail Marx!

Why do they call this Marx stuff 2 rail?
I don't mean that to be derogatory at
all but do they not know what Marx is?

The folks writing this sh*t up have no idea about the wheel sets shorting out if used on modern two rail track. They are confusing wind up or push trains with true electric. They are used to HO and ASSUME that the wheels are somehow isolated like an HO or any other true two rail system would be. Of course turning the unit over an looking at the wheel sets is probably something that never occurs to them.
Once I built a railroad, I made it run,
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?

Re: One Only!
Not only are the gondola ends missing, the molded-on brakewheel is broken. One of it's trucks has Lionel wheelsets. Marx made die-cast wheels, but never put them on these stamped sideframe trucks.
Postwar Lionel never made a drop-end gondola. Unfortunately, the Marx hinges on the ends were too small, and broke easily.
The auto carrier is in better shape, but should come with four plastic cars. Reproductions used to be available. Don't know about now.

Why do you think that's true? Crap like that doesn't even show up on my stored searches; maybe due to the 1 of kind nature,

It might be fun to tell the clueless seller that an equally clueless buyer could start an electrical fire. Why would the seller specify two-rail? Did they figure everything three-rail has pick-up rollers?
