Re: Uber rare and dirt cheap!
Build date 9-44? Weren't these all built after 1948?
Once I built a railroad, I made it run,
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?

Those look like standard Lionel trucks to me. There's no explanation or illustration in the listing supporting the two-rail claim.

It does not pay to give any of these listings that are being presented very much thought.

But that's what's so funny about this one. Didn't just list it in 2-rail 0, but SPECIFIED 2-rail 0.
Clueless, idiotic, stupid, MARKETING!
I mean, really, if I had known before we could call these 2-rail 0, all those similar units wrapped in old newspaper, stored in a box, in the basement....I coulda been rich!
Just follow these brilliant evilbait sellers, and you'll learn stuff that doesn't exist!

Ah. Supporting documentation. Valid as anything on the algore, I suppose. Two places, one of which is a tad obscure:
"O Scale 2-Rail Lionel NYC New York Central Single Door Box Car #159000"
Documented, supported listing. Next:
"Rail System: 2-Rail"
Can't get more precisely obscure than that.
As far as plastic....these are usually brittle Plexiglas, or at least appear to be.

There are whole bunch of HO items listed in the 2-rail categories.
There are completely non-model train related items listed in the 2-rail categories.

Oh, I know. See it every day. But if I narrow focus to Model Railroads, and then to 0, you never know what you're gonna get.
But this ain't that.
This is specifically listing an item and in the "documentation" TWICE misidentifies the track upon which it was designed to be used.
I get the ones where the header is wrong, the writeup is correct, those don't get shared here.

and here I am pointing those failings out. It can range from hilarious to highly entertaining, and goes downhill from there.

They do go downhill; I'm not sure than any have adequate impetus to travel otherwise,
