The circus was over on OGR however with the Alan Bros Clown show in full operation.

I beg to differ with you on that. What I saw was some kind of a personal conflict taking place and it wasn't with the Alan Bros.

That was the other 1/2 of the performance - maybe you missed the bits of snide commentary that they provided prior to deletion. It was the usual so it would not surprise for it to fly under the radar. And why delete it anyway? What real harm was being done? Why are they so threatened and insecure? Oh well, that seems the norm these days.

Boys, I'm alive! It was rough fighting off almost one hundred Nazis but I did it. What is up with those crazy nerds over there. It is a ****** hobby, right?

I thought I was being nice. I went over to research the new Lionel Visionline Challenger in Clinchfield, and just to be nice threw up a few photos for old time's sake. Then in less than 18 hours I get this nasty message from Alan Idiot Arnold. It is rude. I'm rather confused. Finally, I realize Brennan was behind it all. So, I told the TRUE story. You can also see comparison photos from before and after on my Only The Finest in O-scale Site of Bennan's railroad and mine. Anyway, problem resolved. I traded Brennan for a 28k painting which is already worth 35k. What is up with that little fucker?

What I wrote yesterday so that they would delete their lies. Those people really need some help. And to think I gave Allan Miller my famous martini secret recipe years ago. Where is the loyalty? I also GAVE Brennan a $800 Harris Tweed jacket. New! $200 Pierre Chardin shoes! NEW! Etc.

Please go on this OGR thread and explain that this is my modeling, that Dennis sold me his railroad for 28,000. dollars and misrepresented what it was. I was gullible and tried to do him a favor since he had tried to sell it for almost 5 years without a single offer, and I felt sorry for him. It was going to the dump until I stepped in. I had my gallery move it from Missouri here to Maine (expensive!).
I had it appraised by two experts as being worth between 4-5,000. dollars since it was all simple kits and ready-made MTH Lionel buildings. I assumed they were all scratch built by Dennis with at least lights and interiors. Nothing was even wired—no switches, no uncouplers, nothing. He even stole back the Lionel tugboat and a loading platform. I was completely sick when I saw the railroad in person. What I had traded 28 thousand dollars for? Dennis is an amazing photographer, no doubt, but an average modeler and a scoundrel when it comes to personal honesty. BUT!— My fault! I did not do my research, and I planned to live my my error because I do not go back on my word.
Instead, I redid absolutely everything as can be easily seen by comparing the photos (his and mine). I even redid the track, the streets, every building, getting rid of half of them. I even suggested to Dennis we publish a before and after article, which I thought would be fascinating. Dennis liked the idea less and less as my modelling progressed. I was not upset until Dennis began his insane illusion that I had promised to keep it intact as it was, and that after my completely changing everything, it was still his model. It was no longer Sandy Harbor. It was Penobscot Falls. I still would have been delighted to credit Dennis if he had not been so outright deceiving and nasty to me.
He got a book out of it. He got all his photos. He clipped me for 22k over its value, and now he defames my character? STOP IT!
Obviously I have been banned from OGR so I could not tell the TRUTH!

By their logic, it's the guy who makes the framework and glues the foam and puts down half the track who has ACTUALLY created the railroad. And those idiots do not know SHITE about artist copyright law. It is simple. If you use a MACHINE to copy artwork, writing, whatever, and you SELL it, then you are liable. There are modelers who copy entire layouts. So what? My issue is that Brennan's layout in person really sucked. I had no choice but to redo it completely. And that, of course, secretly is the issue with Brennan. He cannot accept his mediocre modeling. On the other hand, he is really talented photographer of layouts. I learned that the hard way. That is a lot of money to get cheated from! And you would think he would stop there, after he fleeced me. Oh no, that isn't enough for Napoleon. He wants the world!

One last rant. Brennan professes to be a liberal. He goes on and on about it on his FB page. But like way too many liberals, he is ONLY a liberal when it suits Dennis Brennan. That is not a value system, it is pure self-interest and greed. Wake up, Dennis. And if you want a railroad, build one, but stop trying to publically steal mine! I just spent 1000s of hours creating Penobscot Falls. And I will defend it to the death.

Lionel Visionline Challenger arriving on Monday for the huge top loop. Who wants to see it run?

Has posting pictures improved over here?

Rufus, have you seen Alan Idiot Arnold's railroad? Perhaps then you will realize why he deleted mine. Funny because Miller was offering magazine coverage, etc. Ha, ha, ha! As if I would EVER publish a thing in that useless rag. I've had offers from WAY better magazines! Did you see the article in the local newspaper by Kay Stevens?

Rufus, how are you anyway?

Wayne, how are you? You ended our very interesting religious conversation after I sent you the 10 commandments as I heard them from God. Why?

No. I avoid any and all contact with him and his clan. I am at a loss to explain why waste any time with OGR's forum in every sense. There used to be a core group of very good modelers there that have departed. All that is left is a depressing cult gathering.......

Rufus, how are you anyway?

Busy. Too many Editor jobs and other jobs. Being a pensioner is hard work.

I do find time to build cars; might have had the most productive building session for the past 6 months in many years. Taking breaks from the office time generates a lot of productivity in the shop.
