Just take one of those chain drive vintage Walthers drive units and stick it underneath, and boy, you'll HAVE something!

Just think. You could put dcc into it, have it make the doors open and close, poles up and down, destination boards light up....be the first one on your block!

uh...no. I eschew any form of dcc, on purpose. Conventional or radio/battery, and not in a metal shell.

Ok, better, but better is at best a relative term, :wink: :wink:

Old Walthers NS kit car; ends might be the only salvageable parts; 3.5 poles ( :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: ) and 3 look like old IMP poles.

Not a tin floor; steel maybe or tin plated steel; tin doesn't rust....
