This has all the appearances of scam.
Kit form, no photos of the actual cars, the (box only) comment is strange...like when you complain, he can state you bought the (box only).
Ever seen Weaver passenger car kits, painted?

Yes, they were offered in several schemes, the one(s) that I would like to get are done in the NH McGinnis orange, white, and black. They were all fully assembled if I remember.

Which makes me think "Estate Sale", clean off the benches.....boxes say something, disassembled, possibly repainted shells...no photos of shells....you can see two floor/seat assemblies through the cellophane in the two boxes.

Scary for possible clueless purchaser when he mentions "parts now included". There should be no parts.

I don't recall Weaver selling passenger car kits.

It is now up to $400.00!! If I really wanted an Weaver O-B box' I could buy a car-with-a-box from the 'bay, put my car in it, and sell off the car that came in the box.

Why would this be listed in: Home & Garden > Greeting Cards & Party Supply > Gift Wrapping Supplies > Gift Boxes ????

Item location: Delhi, New York

Is that with or w/o virus to go?

Because the only model railroad dealer in Delhi is:

Delhi
Dee's Tiques & Gifts
1260 Peakesbrook Rd

And the scam continues.

This is good, from Trainz, $51 for a set of 5 HW NH cars, note $30 shipping, versus the scam $70.

or these three from Trainz for $153.00:

or these two in 2-rail from Trainz for $143.00:

seller claims 2003 build date from Weaver. Found a 2004 catalog....yeah, there are NH cars, "Black Knight" with the upper half of the sides orange (letterboard)...not all green (?) like the TCA photo he robbed.
G-1238 is 4-car set, G-1246 is a two car set.
Spring of 2006, nothing.

Decided to copy, crop, work on brightness of one box. I think I had a modicum of success. Shows the seat insert, flexed.....wonder where the rest of the BMW down payment is?

BTW, it appears the ability to download from your device is now gone. Unless the forum software doesn't like me!

Don't think that the seller is a model railroad dealer.................

Listed on-line as Williams dealer, but it's an antique and gift store. Makes sense when you see the other garbage they have for sale.
