There is, however, something weird about that photo. Reminds me a bit of my high school drafting class days, when I just couldn't quite get the perspective right on a three-quarter view.

Yes, that was my thought as well - line car. Now I just have to think about those ends and wrap around corner glass.

Looking closely, I'm thinking those windows are flat plates of glass, set in frames in the curved-corners of the car's body. They don't appear to be curved glass.

Pretty interesting...two similar cars, one with a line-pole and one with the pantograph. I presume one equipped with a pantograph is able to operate at a greater speed than a trolley pole.
