Coronavirus Projects
Coronavirus Projects
I heard on the Newshour that a book club is reading War and Peace during this crisis. Sounds like a good way to feel some accomplishment, when looking back to this time. I have been thinking about a battery-operated plastic locomotive conversion as a fairly easy project. Also, I'm thinking of a more ambitious brass loco build. I'm still weighing my options. Anyone else doing any Covid19 projects?

Re: Coronavirus Projects
I have so many projects in the hopper, it will take me years to complete, if ever.

Re: Coronavirus Projects
Let's see....
Finished off that LWS MP54 to an MPb54 project
Powered one of my John Armstrong interurban cars with Q-Car drive
Just about ready to do final painting stages of a re-powered IMP boxcab
Got a PSC reefer repaired (tiny fixes) and ready to paint - do not have the paint I need.....
Working on 2 styrene wood side reefers - should have them ready for painting by the weekend - that depends on what lettering I have and whether I have the right paint in the shop
Working on a couple of MoW cars.....wood tank cars
Biggest issue is that I'm beginning to run low on some detail parts,
Weather gets just a bit better and then I have some projects re-setting slate in the one walkway and a slate retaining wall.
Could cut up logs and split them for next season
Might have to hit HD tomorrow at 7 am to see if I can get a few things after I drive by the PO.
Articles to write......too many.
Editor jobs - busy and busier.

Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have created or made.
Re: Coronavirus Projects
I will start working on a replacement for the base of that ef60 loco kit I bought 30 plus years ago. I have reached the stage where I need the track to put the chassis on the bogies. I thought I still had the four pieces that made up the base but they are gone. Weird how I was able to keep track of pieces that I need tweezers to hold and lost two 10" sections of track.
