Shat do you suggest be done to change this situation?

Start a movement called Recall'em all! No party lines. Take down every elected official out there. Then make the incoming group live in fear of failure.
Probably find that things are not that bad for the average joe. So they wont get involved and make waves. Nothing will get done .
With all the million people marches this country has had. You would think something could be done. March a million people up the hill. Rip open the doors and say " get the f&*k out. Now! Not enough security forces around to stop people. Pitch forks and torches. Drag a few so called leaders out on the lawn and flog them. Then we will have change.
Problem is people want to get together and smash store windows. Take free cigs and booze. That wont make change. just more finger pointing.

I find it hilarious that when watching the debates all we seen were candidates telling us why the other was not the right choice for President, the debates even got heated by the candidates really trying to make us believe them. Now i see all these candidates who have dropped out and are now saying the one they called horrible are now the best choice to be President and how they can lead this country like no other. Once again, i find myself wondering how it is, that out of 330 million people in the U.S., these are the best we could come up with!

ST. LOUIS — To Sen. Bernie Sanders, there is plenty of blame to go around when it comes to his recent reversal of fortune. For everyone but him and his campaign.

The “corporate media” didn’t pay attention to his agenda.

The Democratic Party establishment aligned to block him from winning its presidential nomination.

And the young voters he counted on to power his campaign didn’t come through for him.

What part of "young people don't come out and vote" was unclear. Here is the thing, young people love a good rally because it feels like a frat party. Getting up after the hangover to go vote is too much of an ask!

I suspect that the ones that might be very good and really qualified are also smart enough not to want the job, nor are possessed by the ego and narcissistic behavior patterns to drive them into politics.

Instead we are offered up a parade of nutters. Then again, we only have ourselves to blame for it all.
