"The precedent for that is established and it would be acquittal."
Nope, Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton had a consensual relationship, however unwise. No civil or criminal charges. The acquittal of Clinton was on charges of perjury in a previous trial.

You can bet that when Trump leaves office there will be an avalanche of criminal and civil charges brought. That's probably his main reason for running for re-election :).

No Rex i dont want to end capitalism. I want to end cronyism and nepotism . I don't want politicians family working for outrageous salary, in foreign. countries I don't want Trump's kids working in the White House. I wanted Clinton fired for sexual harassment. I wanted witnesses in Trumps trial. i want Nancey removed and she can take trump with her.

Sorry Neil, I just got back from grocery shopping.

From what I read earlier the supposed DNA is on both sleeves of this dress that she kept 25 years. If she was raped not sure how the substance was on the sleeves. Trumps DNA has got to be all over New York. As a defense lawyer I would have to question a lot about this supposed rape and DNA.

This interview with CNN has me confused.

In a CNN interview with Anderson Cooper, she explained her decision not to call her assault a "rape", stating that due to the prevalence of women being subject to longstanding sexual violence, she did not want to label this single incident of "three minutes in this little dressing room" as rape. Instead, she described it as a "fight" because then she would not be considered as the "victim". Reflecting, she criticized her own thinking at the time that "I thought I won because I got out" as "stupid". Further believing that "most people think of rape as being sexy" with rape "fantasies", Carroll declared: "I was not thrown on the ground and ravished ... This was not sexual. It just, it hurt.

So were you present to confirm that the sex wasn't consensual?

If a manager of IBM or any other company has sex with an intern or subordinate. They would be fired (If caught) That can be employer harassment . Even when it is 2 adults and consensual. He (Clinton) should have been fired. Most companies do not allow employees to date. Our politicians need to be held to the same standards as corporate America.

Beside the point :). Monica Lewinsky never claimed harassment or rape, the woman mentioned above claims rape. Neither Clinton nor Trump have covered themselves in glory with their behavior towards women, but at least Clinton never claimed to be proud of his behavior. Trump's cruelty and vileness speak for themselves in so many areas of life, that the claims seem quite credible for that reason. In any case, if he survives his presidency (whether one or two terms), expect some civil suits. Nobody ever accused Obama of rape or harassment, except perhaps that great American Rush Limbaugh, another sewer of hatred and cruelty. :)

No, no, Thanks, though, but it's all enjoyable to read. Exchanging ideas and perspectives can cause Change in itself. So, rock-on, brothers. Enjoy the time together.

Gayle King.
What really happened?
Things certainly seem to have changed for her, suddenly.
Was she too candid?

She is on CBS. I scanned CBS and didn't see anything.

This is on FOX. Maybe you can figure it out from reading the article. Has something to do with something she said about Kobe.

It has to do with Kobe, yes, but should she have spoken about it to that degree?

Understatement of the year so far!
The average train of thought isn’t big enough to carry a full sized opinion on any subject.

Don't know. Not a basket ball fan. All I remember is that years ago there was a lot of media attention about Kobe and a woman who worked at a hotel that Kobe was staying at while on the road.

We are now in the #metoo arena so I don't know what's going on.
