I know zilch about traction, but they look to be well made. A fair amount of wheel wear, paint still looks nice. 8 guys bidding with 40 bids and 3 days left, maybe a shoot out at the end?

They look like the Pittman freight motors. Even the drives look like Pittman.

They are. They usually run around $100. Got one one the queue that needs a roof.

These are nicely finished, and all that underbody detail has been added to each. But only 1 is powered and these are Zamac castings - a bit heavy unless your layout is all downhill,

I always considered these Pittman LVT box motors as the base bottom line carbodies to model O traction with; ubiquitous, unremarkable and (usually) inexpensive. Agree with Rich and Martin these three are unusually nice looking models, underbodies are well detailed and I love the paint and lettering, so while the bidding has gotten a bit side ways over the top, I would expect some of the "money-is-no-object" traction-foamers would be dogging these, again traction usually seems to get a lot of love on E-Bay these days and at the shows price-wise, this certainly confirms it.
Opinion, current price would seem more reasonable to me if all three were individually powered, better yet with Wagner or Q-Car truck drives.

Yes; would make it far better, but still a bit dear.......

Does seem that traction sells well on the Bay.................................................except when I'm selling it.

I'll be testing that out next year as I have no desire to brave the PO mailing packages between now and 2020.
