Nice video. When will you add a Bi-Polar?

I never heard the Pennsy steam whistle, even though I saw a Mike go by in 1956, and rode behind a K4 out of Penn Station in Philly.

Bob, I recently missed out on this NJCB bipolar in an auction. I was outbid by $25. I sold for $425.

I do have an interest in the MTH as I have DCS and it will operate in 2 rail. Problem is it’s not offered with scale wheels. It would be an expensive undertaking to have them converted I’m sure. If the O Gauge wheels aren’t the old style giant pancake flange type I might consider it.

Jon,
That is definitely a Pennsy whistle sound. All PRR locos did not have the same whistle, not even in the same class. Besides that high pitched
one there was a very deep steamboat sounding one and others in between. Really nice models.

Oh, one criticism. For that time period you need a cabin car (caboose). PRR had several types but they did not have any with bay windows.

She was supposed to get off at Petticoat Junction, but overslept.
