Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun right in the doorway. I left 9 shells beside it, then left it alone and went about my business.

While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house.

After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn't moved itself. It certainly hadn't killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had presented to do so. In fact, it hadn't even loaded itself.

Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the Left and the Media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people. Either the media is wrong, or I'm in possession of the laziest gun in the world.

The United States is third in Murders throughout the World. But if you take out just four cities: Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC and New Orleans, the United States is fourth from the bottom, in the entire world, for Murders! These four Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the U.S. All four of these cities are controlled by Democrats. It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data - right?.....

Well, I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat.

I think I need to take my AR to a gunsmith and have it checked. It hasn't even taken a shot at me in the 35 years that I have owned it.

A pregnant woman is being celebrated as a hero for using an AR-15 rifle to save the lives of her husband and 11-year-old daughter after two men broke into the family’s home Wednesday night.

Two masked intruders broke into the Lithia, Florida home close to 9pm on Wednesday. One of the men grabbed the couple’s 11-year-old daughter while both men violently attacked her father, Jeremy King. One of the men pistol-whipped him, and the other kicked him in the head several times, King said.

His wife, who is more than eight-months pregnant, peeked out of the back bedroom during the incident, at which point King said one of the intruders shot at her. She then retrieved the AR-15 and shot at the intruder, clipping him, according to King.

“He made it from my back door to roughly 200 feet out in the front ditch before the AR did its thing,” King said.

Authorities found the body of a man in a ditch nearby the house. King meanwhile said he has a fractured eye socket, fractured sinus cavity, a concussion, 20 stitches and three staples in his head.

“Them guys came in with two normal pistols and my AR stopped it,” King said, adding that his wife had “evened the playing field and kept them from killing me.”

The AR-15 rifle was in the home legally, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

In Pennsylvania. If you shot somebody in your house. You better pray he does not die in a ditch. If the intruder is dead outside your house. You will be charged with murder.

Unfortunately, there are folks out there can't understand that, and they want to take away the second amendment, that's the point.

That is a pathetic law. People should have the right to defend themselves period. You break into a house, regardless if you have deadly force on you or not, the house owner should be able to shoot to kill with no repercussions. Our laws just protect the criminal.

If you shoot a intruder in your house in Calif. you better be able t convince sceptable police and likely a jury that it was self defense and it was him or you.
