PE color gone wrong!
PE color gone wrong!
For those of you that don't keep up with other forums, here is what the new add on Lionel Polar Express RPO car looks like compared to the other cars from the set. I'm beyond upset and worried that the StationSounds Hot Chocolate car and Abandoned Toy Car will look just as bad.

Re: PE color gone wrong!
It seems that Lionel has had many problems with color from their Asian suppliers.
Re: PE color gone wrong!
Are they painted or is the background color (gray) the plastic? Pretty poor quality control.

Read the thread title...and wondered....how can you mess up the red of a PE car?
Freight motors, maybe, but that red....why they called the PE the Red Cars.
And what do those fantasy schemed cars you show in your photo have to do with the Pacific Electric Red Cars?
PE color gone wrong........!

Reality is not really relevant when Lionel is involved.

That rail up the middle eliminates any notions of reality.
