Mrs. Ryu set her automatic robotic vacuum cleaner to diligently do its job last week, but was rudely awoken when the machine mistook her hair for some filth left laying around on the floor.

Ryu, 52, from Changwon City, southeast of Seoul, made the mistake of laying down for a nap on the floor - common practice in many parts of Asia - while simultaneously employing the help of her vacuu-bot.

Probably still in litigation, or maybe they are haggling for the movie rights:

"ROOMBAS FROM H*LL!"

Hurricane Dorian devastates the Bahamas.

The Bahamas got their independence from the UK in 1973, but they are still part of the Commonwealth and call Elizabeth II their Queen. The country is very wealthy, ranked third only after the US and Canada. We still have a mess to clean up in Puerto Rico. Therefore, if the Bahamas need help, they should ask their brothers and sisters in the Commonwealth first - the UK, Australia, and Canada to name a few.

https://news.yahoo.com/queen-elizabeth- ... 00114.html

In the wake of the hurricane's destruction, Queen Elizabeth has sent her sympathies. The monarchy has close ties to the country, as the Bahamas are member of the British Commonwealth Realm. "Her Majesty, as The Queen of the Bahamas, has sent the following message of condolence to the Governor-General,"

I doubt they will get any help from the UK. They are too bogged down in Brexit.

In the News:
Antonio Brown, football player
Britney Taylor, his "trainer."

Did I hear somebody say, "Check please!"

Last week's news.....yet unresolved.....

Yup. It persists. Apparently a $2,000,000 payment was not accomplished.

That perspective hadn't occurred to me, Roger, which is exactly why I bring certain matters to this happy li'l forum, to get perspectives of which I am unaware or oblivious .

...and if a woman requires payment (cash or "Check Please!"/property/jewelry, etc.) for "services rendered," what does that make her, according to many cultures, human history, and several major religions?

Does services rendered include being a participant in a rape? I think you may be making a presumption. I have no idea who is or not being honest and have no reason to presume anything one way or another. However, it does seem that a number of NFL players have been caught doing some amazingly stupid things that have cost them everything.

From what you have said here, are you certain you, and the Media, and the general public have not made any assumptions about both individuals mentioned in this allegation ?

AND, it shouldn't be beyond imagination to understand that especially since the inception of "Me too" / "Me2" that it is possible that strong , virile, extremely wealthy athletes might become targets - potentially very lucrative targets - for the new clarion call, "Check Please". Such situations are not only about the alleged "victim". There may be a whole new kind of other victim in such a formula for evil narcissism - wealthy men, hardly an impossibility. And actually, hardly new.

Let's wait and see since neither of us really knows anything other than what we've seen in the news. That was my point - remember that judge not paradigm?

The curious thing about this is that there apparently is no criminal case ongoing. The whole thing is odd.

But the Patriots beat the snot out of the Dolphins yesterday,

OK. Fair enough.
