So, I return to the Hobo Jungle, after a few months of traveling around, and what do I find?

Tramp has a new site.

So I go and take a look.

Not much to see.

And then I learn Sarge is hanging around with Biker Mike.

So, over to Biker Mike's Basement.

Grown men playing with talking dolls.

Well, I'm hungry, I think I will make something to eat and head over to Steubenville. The jungle was more interesting there in 2000 (last time I was there.)

This turned out pretty good.

Steubenville, Ohio?
Near my hometown and in the 1940s and 1950s a great area for trains.
The bridge above looks like the one across the Ohio River to the coke plant.

Very nice, but I think a leisurely stroll might safely outdistance it.

Many hobos have been trampled in their sleep by 1000 feet of a millipede stampeding.

Turtle stampedes have been a problem for local wildlife but no reports of hobo trampling yet.

I would be more concerned about being caught up in one of the decennial great oyster migrations.

AS long as I have a plentiful supply of cocktail sauce, I will be ready. Raw oysters on the half-shell, MMMMMMMMMMM!

After the first 100 or so that might grow tiresome,

Sadly, we don't have many honey bees around these parts anymore. The majority of the natural hives have been wiped out, and even the commercially kept hives are taking a hit. Heard a lot of theories on why this was happening, ranging from mite infestations to cell-phone radiation. The latest, and most likely it seems to me, is that modern pesticides are taking down the bee population. We humans eff up everything :(

I'm sure you've heard that we humans will be in big trouble without bees to pollinate plants that contribute so much to our lives.
