Interesting. Of course, many of us who post about our O gauge projects hope to help other hobbyists, and/or the manufacturers.

Health groups call out tobacco marketing aimed at teens on social media
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/health-gro ... ial-media/

Tobacco and e-cigarette companies are paying so-called social media influencers -- quasi-celebrities with large followings -- to promote and market their products directly to young people on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, according to a letter from more than 100 public health and tobacco-free organizations.

Instagram and parent company Facebook both ban tobacco advertisements and Twitter said it prohibits "the promotion of tobacco products, accessories and brands worldwide," Reuters reported. "But the loophole is that the bans don't cover paid influencers and they don't have a mechanism for tracking those kinds of posts," Myers said.

All goes back to the majority of Americans being incapable of thinking for themselves.

If they were incapable, they'd have an excuse. They're unwilling to think for themselves. They're sheeple waiting to be told what to think, and what to believe, and what's true and what's false.

Yes, and I think it has been like this for much longer than we realize.

Plus, I think, it is very attractive when we find we have things in-common with others, kind of a "pack-building" quality which attends to survival and pleasant self-imaging and being attached to others in a variety of ways.

Speaking of thinking for ourselves , "Ancient Aliens, 'The Visionaries'," S11; E5 has caused (it's on right now) me to have a spontaneous thought:

Is it possible that since we are fast approaching a time when every human on Earth will be Web-connected," wouldn't it be possible for an outside force or entity to be able to address the entire world simultaneously , at the same moment and purpose?

I agree. However with the type of communication we have today between so many people it is probably more effective now.

This has been used in Sci-Fi for many years.

Speaking of all of the above, couldn't the Hair-do-in-Chief have gotten a haircut, at least, to meet the Queen?! Maybe he could have viewed such an action as redacting that head, and hopefully that "D-A" at the back collar would have been out of sight permanently.

Jus' sayin' . Does that make me a bad person ?

(OK. Let me have it . I can take it.)
