Lobaugh/cast bronze trucks

I seem to remember someone here (was it Turner?) had a love for these above the more modern spread.

To a good home, then, a two axle trailer and a pair of lightweight passenger trucks. PM or email me.

Not to be too picky (which I am not), but for the record the passenger trucks appear to be Kasiner knock-offs, which are much more common than Lobaughs. There are at least two tells. The easiest is the profile at each end of the sideframe. Lobaughs are longer than the Kasiners:

The second tell is Kasiner's use of one-piece shouldered hex-head bolts for assembly. These can be seen here. Note the Kasiner sideframes too:

Jim, I'm not surprised and actually rather suspected any of these would have been any number of different makers from the era. That's why the slash after "Lobaugh" in the title, just in case. I certainly don't know them all by manufacturer. Grin!

Anyway, they are here if you want them to add to your stash.

I suspect there will be more such things as I go through the workshop and cellar getting all this under control.

I have a good supply - hopefully yours will go to a worthy who will enjoy them. You might note the latest asking prices on eBay. I like your approach a lot better.

I actually have a PSC coach with Lobaugh trucks. I did fix the PSC trucks, but haven’t bothered to re-install them. That’s how “non-discerning” I am.
