Hi Roy, Do you suppose the engine you have shown us , just above, is this one on my layout :D (albeit it differently numbered) ?

That would be highly dependent upon whether the one on your layout is in fact a simple E6s - 1067 was a E6s - and not the more modern E6sb that I believe still remains in Strasburg at the museum.

Well, now I'm curious at least as to what the label on its box might claim the model to represent. The host of importers and manufacturers tend to deviate in varying amounts from true fidelity, and few, if any, real fully accurate models exist.

Murph, frankly, I didn't see any Atlantics on your layout. I posted it, because Roger mentioned the E6. I posted the NYC Dreyfuss Hudson for you.

I just saw some :streamlined" steam locos that I had forgotten about that I do think are beautiful.
The beauty is more in the paint than the streamlining. These would be the several that were done by the Milwaukie Road.

This looks like PENNSYLVANIA TMCC SCALE 4-4-2 E-6 ATLANTIC #68 Lionel SKU: 6-28704.

This is the 4-4-2 that was the subject of so many contemporaneous electric train models:

Thanks Marty, for sharing a favorite locomotive. I think NKP 765 is one of Murph's favs, also. Do you have an O gauge version?

Absolutely. After chasing it around Pittsburgh and Horseshoe Curve I decided I needed one. I bought the Lionel Legacy version. One of my favorite locomotives. I'll see if I have some pics on the home computer and post them. I purchased 2 of the 3 heritage engine that I saw with it. Still looking for the NKP 8100.

I also now have the "scale" Polar Express Berk. While not real life, based on the 1225.
